At the age of 5, Rob found his first piece of pounamu-since then, the stone has been “in his blood,” a fascination and something to reflect upon.

Jade was plentiful in the area at the time, and the young Rob quickly discovered within himself a spirit of creativity.

Robert expresses his love and respect for nature and the outdoors through his art. Robs art is characterised by the quality of the stone he uses and by the high diamond polish that he achieves. Rob specialises in fine Pounamu Earrings and bangles - his Koru and Pikorua need to be seen to be believed.
