Donna Summers

Donna studied at the prestigious Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design, where she won the Eden Arts Art School Award in her final year. She is of Filipino and NZ-European heritage, and grew up in Northland, where she was taught that pounamu is a precious taonga to be passed down through generations.

This deep respect for pounamu, combined with her formal art training, has shaped Donna’s creative approach—producing refined, meaningful pieces that blend design excellence with cultural reverence.
