Tūī (Prosthemadera novaeseelandiae) is a remarkable, endemic honeyeater bird of Aotearoa New Zealand, famous for its complex dual-voice singing, sound mimicry, and deep cultural status in Māori tradition. Tūī can sing two different notes at the same time and produce up to 300 different sounds, including whistles, clicks, coughs, grunts, and wheezes. Though they look dark from a distance, their feathers shimmer with blue, green, and bronze iridescence. They feature distinct white tufts of feathers on their throat.

Raukaraka- Genuine West Coast Greenstone from the Taramakau River Area. This is the term used by the Māori of the Cook Strait region of the Kawakawa variety that is streaked with a shade of olive green and has yellow and orange hues that blend into the greens. This stone shares its name with the New Zealand native Karaka tree.
