Its curved lines also represent the idea of energy and movement and like the cyclical nature of time and seasons, where one path ends, another begins. The Disc is also believed to have protective qualities and can symbolize a shield or a boundary that keeps negative influences and harm at bay
Kawakawa- is the most common variety of Pounamu. it comes in many shades - from strong, rich green to dark green - and often has small dark flecks, which add to its character. Named after the leaf of the Kawakawa. It is the main type used in gem purposes.
