A lovely pair of rectangle earrings handcrafted from New Zealand Kawakawa Pounamu and set on Sterling Silver 925 hooks. The crisp, geometric shaping gives them a modern, structured feel, while allowing the deep green tones of the stone to bring a natural warmth and character to these wonderful earrings.
Kawakawa- is the most common variety of Pounamu. it comes in many shades - from strong, rich green to dark green - and often has small dark flecks, which add to its character. Named after the leaf of the Kawakawa. It is the main type used in gem purposes.
