This stunning pair of Kuru drops exquisitely handcrafted from beautiful Auhunga Pounamu set on Sterling Silver hooks. A Kite design at the base really makes them stand out, a wonderful taonga.
Kuru- Drop pendants are regarded as touch stones for meditation and representing a connection to the whenua (the land) Aotearoa (New Zealand). The Kuru design is a simple slender length of pounamu worn to encourage knowledge, confidence and independence.
Auhunga- Genuine West Coast Greenstone from the Arahura River area, West Coast. Auhunga Pounamu is a pale opaque green colour. Resembling the Southern New Zealand mountains, its --name translates to frosty, given as the intermediate of Inanga and Kawakawa.
