Handcrafted from genuine Kawakawa Pounamu, this striking Hei Tiki is a timeless symbol of protection, wisdom, and whakapapa (genealogy). Rich, deep green tones are enhanced by the natural character of the stone, making every pendant completely unique.

The vibrant Pāua shell eyes bring the Tiki to life, shimmering with iridescent blues and greens that represent awareness, intuition, and spiritual insight. Traditionally regarded as one of the most treasured Māori taonga, the Hei Tiki is worn as a guardian, carrying the strength and wisdom of ancestors while offering protection and guidance throughout life's journey.

The smooth, flowing lines and careful hand finishing showcase the beauty of New Zealand pounamu, while the adjustable braided cord makes it comfortable for everyday wear. Whether gifted to celebrate a birth, milestone, graduation, or new beginning, this pendant is a meaningful keepsake designed to be treasured for generations.

Hei Tiki- According to legend was the first man on Earth who originated from the stars. The first mortal person who created the first woman after his image. The exact meaning of the Tiki is disputed. There are several opinions but the most accepted are that the Tiki stands for fertility. Traditionally regarded as a good luck charm meant to keep evil spirits away.

Kawakawa- is the most common variety of Pounamu. it comes in many shades - from strong, rich green to dark green - and often has small dark flecks, which add to its character. Named after the leaf of the Kawakawa. It is the main type used in gem purposes.

Paua Shell – Abalone, our Paua shell is rich and deep in iridescent colours unique to New Zealand. Found all around the rocky shoreline coast but grows best in southern waters. Paua shell has been traditionally used by Maori to illuminate the eyes & features of carvings and artwork. While Paua sits within the abalone family, which is found in other parts of the world, namely, South America, Australia, Western North America, and Japan, our Paua's hidden, bright multi-coloured interior shell is only found in New Zealand.
