This cute pendant is carved from beautiful Kawakawa Pounamu and framed in solid Sterling Silver. The dark green stone pops with its bevelled edges and a beautiful satin finish, capped with a sturdy handcrafted bail and chain loop that adds softness to the crisp angular design. Kawakawa- is the most common variety of Pounamu. it comes in many shades - from strong, rich green to dark green - and often has small dark flecks or light inclusions, which add to its character. Named after the leaf of the Kawakawa. It is the main type used in gem purposes.
