The Crusaders core value ‘For Each Other’
means being part of something bigger. Doing good for our teammates on the field, for the fans in the stands, and most importantly, for what’s outside the stadium — our community.
Crusading with heart means acting not just with courage, but compassion and understanding. Not just conviction, but kindness and generosity. It means striving to do good for others. Giving everything we can to support those who need it in our community.
With a desire to have a more purposeful approach to the impact we have on our community and a vision of being one of the most impactful sports teams in the world, the Crusade with Heart Foundation was born.
The Foundations sole purpose is to build belonging and connection beyond the rugby field and have a positive impact on those in our community who need it most.
Through events like The Long Run, The Hall of Fame Charity Lunch and themed rounds such as Connection Round the Foundation that was established in 2022 has raised over $1,000,000 for youth based charities in New Zealand
