This stunning ring features a beautiful oval stone, cut from Kawakawa Pounamu, and set in a 14kt Gold bevel setting and band. At either side of the setting joining the band are beautiful and delicate fluted gold features which add a wonderful extra touch to this gorgeous ring.
Kawakawa- is the most common variety of Pounamu. it comes in many shades - from strong, rich green to dark green - and often has small dark flecks, which add to its character. Named after the leaf of the Kawakawa. It is the main type used in gem purposes.
