This striking Double Koru pendant is carved from genuine grade Kawakawa pounamu, showing deep, dark green tones that shift to an almost black green in shadow, with rich, glowing green flashes where the light passes through the stone. The double spiral design creates a beautiful sense of movement and rhythm, with two Koru forms winding into one another to represent new life, growth, and the unfolding of new beginnings alongside enduring connection. Finished with a high polish, the round pendant showcases the natural depth and translucency that genuine-grade Kawakawa is known for.

Koru- The Māori word for bright or loop. It refers to the shoots of the silver fern. The circular movement to the inner core refers to "going back to the beginnings". The unfurling frond itself is symbolic for new life, new beginnings, hope, personal growth, purity nurturing, a new phase in life, the spirit of rejuvenation and peace.

Kawakawa- is the most common variety of Pounamu. It comes in many shades - from strong, rich green to dark green - and often has small dark flecks, which add to its character. Named after the leaf of the Kawakawa. It is the main type used for gem purposes.
