Moko Pounamu Toki Genuine NZ Kahotea Flower Greenstone - Kaikumera
A wonderful Toki (Adze) carved from Kahotea Pounamu, the carver has crafted the greenstone to appear as if it has been folded over at the top of the piece to form the hole through which the cord is threaded - this Toki will be a cherished taonga.
Toki/Adze – The Toki had much meaning for the Māori, fashioned from stone or greenstone it was an essential tool for survival and day to day life for the Māori. That is the reason Māori attribute the spiritual meaning of strength and power to the Toki. This symbol represents Mana, determination, control, strength, focus and honour.
