This Toki is hand carved from a vividly hued piece of Kahotea Pounamu, with gentle natural markings throughout the stone. The design features cut-outs on each side of the central section, creating a distinctive profile and allowing the cord to wrap neatly through the middle. With its clean shaping and smooth polish, the pendant has a contemporary feel while holding a steady, grounded presence.

Toki/Adze – The Toki had much meaning for the Māori, fashioned from stone or greenstone it was an essential tool for survival and day to day life for the Māori. That is the reason Māori attribute the spiritual meaning of strength and power to the Toki. This symbol resembles determination, control, strength, focus and honour.

Kahotea – Genuine West Coast Pounamu that is streaked or flecked with white. The name Kahotea derives from Kaho, meaning light coloured tea (white or clear)
